A rapidly growing AI company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their expanding tech team. This role involves building and scaling their flagship AI companionship platform, contributing to the product roadmap, and implementing technical solutions to enhance user experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a back-end or full-stack software engineer.
• Experience in tech scale-ups or agile environments.
• Proven track record on large-scale products with significant user engagement.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• A commitment to ownership and a proactive mindset.
• User-centric approach to product development.
• Comfort with building products that may include uncensored content.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Product Manager to review project specifications.
• Prepare integration plans, breakdowns, and estimations for projects.
• Engage in hands-on coding, including implementation, pull requests, code reviews, and testing.

Skills

• Proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Familiarity with Hotwire (Turbo & Stimulus) and Tailwind CSS.

Education

• Relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Tools

• Access to premium AI tools including ChatGPT, Cursor, and Hugging Face to enhance productivity and innovation.
