Software Engineer (Cybersecurity, Aarhus)

Job summary

An experienced Software Engineer is needed for a Next Generation Security Information and Event Management (NG-SIEM) product group, focusing on the LogScale platform. The role involves working on a highly distributed system that processes vast amounts of data daily, with a goal to enhance scalability and efficiency while maintaining high performance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong programming skills in Go, Scala, or similar languages, with a preference for backend development.
• Fluency in both functional and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with modern CI/CD practices and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong ownership mindset and team-first attitude.
• Interest in distributed systems and AI applications in software development.
• Fluent in English; Danish is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team to scope, design, and develop new features.
• Communicate technical decisions through documentation and discussions.
• Identify and implement optimizations to existing systems and processes.
• Support team members through code reviews and technical guidance.
• Monitor features in production and troubleshoot critical issues.
• Participate in on-call rotation approximately every 4 weeks.

Skills

• Strong programming and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Familiarity with permissions and asset management.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.

Tools
