Software Tester (Quality Assurance, Remote)

Job summary

The role involves ensuring the quality of complex software solutions through comprehensive testing and quality assurance practices. The Software Tester will collaborate with project teams to design, implement, and execute software tests, focusing on both manual and automated testing methods.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing and conducting test cases for both manual and automated tests.
• Ability to review product requirements and specifications to identify relevant test cases.
• Knowledge of risk assessment in relation to system context and security aspects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and perform system tests to ensure quality assurance of software.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage of requirements and determine appropriate test depth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and project managers, to enhance software quality.
• Engage in knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement practices within the team.

Skills

• Proficiency in GIT, Scrum methodologies, and ISTQB standards.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, REST, SOAP, and SQL technologies.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in a team environment.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in software testing or quality assurance.

Tools

• Experience with testing tools and frameworks that support automated testing processes.
