Staff Accountant (E-Commerce, Remote)

Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting experience with U.S.-based companies.
• Strong grasp of GAAP accounting principles and their practical application.
• Ability to provide insights and solutions beyond basic transactional accounting.
• Comfortable engaging with leadership on accounting matters.
• Experience in fast-growing e-commerce or consumer goods sectors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries, maintain account reconciliations, and manage the general ledger.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Support cash flow management and conduct bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports and analyze variances.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and tracking expenses.
• Coordinate external audits and address audit inquiries.
• Maintain accurate fixed asset records.
• Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with various teams to resolve accounting issues.
