Technical Automation QA Engineer (Maritime SaaS, Copenhagen - Hybrid)

Job summary

This role involves maintaining product quality and release confidence during a critical growth phase in the maritime software industry. The position is a full-time, 8-month maternity leave substitute focused on test automation and quality advocacy.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in QA/test automation roles.
• Strong background in automated testing (API, integration, UI).
• Understanding of software development and system architecture.
• Proficiency with test frameworks and tools such as .NET Framework, Jest, Playwright, and Postman.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to quality advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated test suites, including API, integration, UI, and regression tests.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines for fast feedback and reliable execution.
• Act as a quality gate for releases, providing assessments and risk analysis.
• Review pull requests focusing on testability and coverage.
• Define acceptance criteria and translate requirements into test scenarios.
• Manage test data and environments to ensure reliable testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance quality practices.
• Document quality practices and share knowledge across teams.
