Test Manager (Logistics, Aarhus)

Job summary

The Test Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing quality within the software development lifecycle of a large international organization undergoing significant IT transformation. This position involves overseeing daily test management activities and implementing a comprehensive QA roadmap across software development, while collaborating closely with various teams.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge in testing methodologies.
• Experience in larger organizations and agile environments.
• Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with methodologies such as TMAP or ISTQB is beneficial but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate testing activities within the Logistics Agile Release Train.
• Transition teams from a traditional testing approach to a quality engineering mindset.
• Collaborate with developers, test engineers, and stakeholders to establish a risk-based quality framework.
• Drive the evolution of test maturity and quality practices within the organization.

Skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities and comfort in ambiguous environments.
• Excellent communication skills to influence quality approaches across teams.
• Experience with SAP or logistics systems is a plus but not required.

Education

• Relevant experience in software testing and quality assurance.

Tools

• Familiarity with SAP and Java-based systems is advantageous.
