UX/UI Designer (E-commerce, Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role involves creating user-friendly and engaging digital experiences by translating business needs into user-centered design solutions. The position is part of a cross-functional product team within the Digitalization & Technology sector, with a primary workplace in Copenhagen and flexibility for remote work.

Qualifications

• Experience in digital product development, particularly in e-commerce flows and customer journeys across various channels.
• Ability to balance ideal UX solutions with technical feasibility and delivery realities.
• Familiarity with working in agile development teams.
• Proficiency in modern design tools, especially Figma.
• Relevant higher education in design, interaction design, IT, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate discovery sessions to transform business ideas into user journeys, flows, and wireframes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to define needs and direction.
• Ensure user needs and end-to-end journeys are prioritized before UI design.
• Coordinate design solutions across digital products with other UX designers.
• Create mockups and UI designs that support daily operations with the commerce team.
• Deliver final implementation-ready UI designs in close collaboration with developers.

Skills

• Strong UX thinking with an emphasis on user-centered design.
• Ability to create visually compelling designs grounded in user understanding.

Education

• Relevant higher education in design, interaction design, IT, or similar fields.

Tools
