Corporate Legal Counsel (Maritime, Hørsholm)

Job summary

This position involves serving as an in-house legal advisor, providing support on a wide range of commercial and corporate legal issues within a global context. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks associated with international business activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Law or Law, preferably with a focus on corporate or commercial law.
• Several years of experience in commercial and corporate law, ideally in an in-house setting.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and experience with international agreements.
• Familiarity with non-EU jurisdictions is beneficial.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proactive and solution-oriented approach to work.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Danish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate global commercial contracts, including agreements with customers, suppliers, and partners.
• Provide legal guidance on corporate and commercial matters across international operations.
• Assess and manage legal risks in projects and business initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Act as the main point of contact for external legal counsel when necessary.
• Support corporate governance and compliance efforts.
• Contribute to the development of legal templates and standard processes.
• Advise stakeholders on legal implications in a business-focused manner.

Education
