About the role

Job summary

The role involves managing product availability and enhancing business performance through data analysis and forecasting. The Demand Planner will play a crucial role in the Never Out of Stock (NOOS) business segment, ensuring optimal inventory levels and supporting decision-making processes across various teams.

Qualifications

  • Relevant educational background in Supply Chain, Business, Purchasing, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across different functions.
  • Experience in forecasting, planning, or buying is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare weekly and ongoing forecasts for NOOS products to manage their lifecycle.
  • Analyze sales and stock data to optimize forecasts and improve inventory performance.
  • Make purchasing and planning decisions, including order placements and capacity considerations.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and enhance tools and processes within the team.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Buying, Supply Planning, and other key stakeholders.

Skills

  • Proficient in Excel and data analysis.
  • Strong ownership of decisions within the area of responsibility.
  • Ability to maintain clarity and structure in a fast-paced environment.

Education

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Purchasing, or a similar field.

Tools

  • Excel and other data analysis tools.
