EU Supply Chain Leader (Manufacturing, Remote/Denmark & Germany)

Job summary

The EU Supply Chain Leader oversees all supply chain and logistics functions at production facilities in Denmark and Germany, aligning with global strategies. This role collaborates with Operations Leaders to ensure timely delivery of equipment and aftermarket orders while developing a consolidated supplier base across the EU.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business, Operations, or Engineering.
• Over 10 years of experience in supply chain management with increasing responsibilities, including leadership roles.
• Strong analytical skills, particularly in Business Analytics and Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP software and purchasing processes.
• Expertise in planning and project management.
• Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Experience in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team responsible for purchasing to support sales in Europe.
• Ensure execution of purchasing activities and material availability for equipment and aftermarket orders.
• Adhere to performance metrics such as project cost adherence and supplier quality.
• Develop and maintain a preferred supplier list for EU operations.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement cost-effective practices.
• Lead import/export logistics and ensure data accuracy.
• Participate in ERP blueprinting for migration to a global ERP system.
• Provide updates on supply chain activities to Site Operations leaders.
• Drive process improvement initiatives related to costs and delivery.
• Prepare executive-level reports on key performance indicators.
