Planning Manager Specialist (Logistics, Remote)

Job summary

This role focuses on optimizing planning and airfreight management within a global supply chain context. The Planning Manager Specialist will analyze data to inform key decisions while leading initiatives that balance product availability, financial considerations, and sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in planning, logistics, distribution, or project management within complex stakeholder environments.
• Educational background in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with planning systems and processes, with a strong understanding of distribution needs.

Responsibilities

• Own governance and standards for airfreight use, including defining criteria and approval processes.
• Manage weekly and monthly airfreight spend reporting, collaborating with various stakeholders to present insights and actions.
• Set and track the annual airfreight budget, linking assumptions to actual results.
• Drive initiatives aimed at reducing airfreight usage and CO₂ emissions, including project management for sustainability efforts.
• Provide analytical support related to global bottleneck processes.

Skills

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret large datasets.
• Proficient in digital tools such as SAP, Kinaxis Maestro, and Microsoft Power BI.
• Excellent collaboration skills, able to work effectively across diverse teams.
• Proactive and self-driven, with a strong learning mindset and curiosity.

Education

• Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, or equivalent.

Tools

• Familiarity with planning systems and digital tools for data analysis.
