Job summary

The Procurement Analyst is responsible for the effective execution of procurement activities, ensuring compliance with financial rules and regulations while delivering value for money. This role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders to manage complex procurement processes autonomously.

Qualifications

  • Experience in procurement or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret financial rules and technical requirements.
  • Ability to manage projects with a high degree of autonomy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies for procurement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement rules and regulations, maintaining legal documents and tools.
  • Engage in business process mapping and establish internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Liaise with requisitioning units for efficient procurement and logistics support.
  • Analyze project needs and prepare procurement processes, including managing solicitation documents and evaluating offers.
  • Monitor procurement plans and ensure compliance with organizational rules.
  • Manage procurement contracts and vendor performance, addressing any issues that arise.

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement management systems and e-procurement tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a client-focused environment.

Education

  • Relevant degree in business, procurement, or a related field is preferred.

Tools

  • Familiarity with procurement management software and data analysis tools.
