About the role

Job summary

The role involves supporting procurement activities and providing analytical inputs to enhance procurement strategies and policies. The Analyst will ensure compliance with procurement regulations and facilitate effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Experience in procurement processes and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret financial rules and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver procurement activities and support functions under the guidance of the Procurement Specialist Team Lead.
  • Analyze and implement sustainable procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Develop and establish internal procurement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and manage workflows.
  • Support the management of procurement processes for projects and other UN agencies, including preparation of procurement plans and monitoring their implementation.
  • Conduct market research and contribute to the development of supplier rosters and evaluation criteria.

Skills

  • Strong client-focused and results-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement documentation management.

Education

  • Relevant degree in procurement, business administration, or a related field.

Tools

  • Familiarity with e-procurement tools and systems for strategic sourcing.
