Regional Purchaser (Industrial, Moss, Norway)

Job summary

The Regional Purchaser is responsible for ensuring operational stability and driving value in CAPEX initiatives across the Nordic region, primarily supporting the production facility in Moss. This role involves maintaining supply security, optimizing inventory, and leading commercial processes for investment projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Logistics.
• 5–10 years of experience in technical procurement, supply chain, or CAPEX project management in an industrial setting.
• Fluency in English and at least one Nordic language (Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish) is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high availability of critical maintenance spare parts to prevent production downtime.
• Lead annual reviews of maintenance inventory to identify and eliminate obsolete stock.
• Standardize emergency order handling to improve documentation and minimize recurrence.
• Collaborate on commercial processes for prioritized CAPEX projects, ensuring compliance with legal and commercial standards.
• Provide analytic support through price bids and cost-benefit analyses for investments.
• Evaluate key project suppliers based on delivery precision, quality, and total cost of ownership.
• Identify cost savings and ensure adherence to GSP frame agreements to reduce maverick spending.
• Analyze purchasing performance and report on KPIs to seek improvement opportunities.
