Job summary

This role involves strategic leadership in the procurement of Capital Expenditures (CAPEX) and Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) categories, focusing on aligning procurement strategies with operational excellence and sustainability. The position is integral to both the Procurement and Engineering Leadership Teams, emphasizing innovation and supplier engagement.

Qualifications

• Over 15 years of experience in a senior leadership role within a global matrix organization, with a strong engineering background.
• Proven track record in delivering value and cost savings through continuous improvement and innovation.
• Expertise in front-end procurement and engineering collaboration.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment development and design processes.
• Experience in leading end-to-end procurement and contracting processes for complex capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global procurement strategy for CAPEX and MRO.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to influence capital planning and project execution.
• Engage suppliers early in the design process to drive innovation and value engineering.
• Lead sourcing and contracting for global CAPEX projects and manage MRO categories to optimize spend.
• Establish and maintain strategic supplier partnerships to enhance performance and resilience.
• Monitor key performance indicators related to cost, quality, and supplier performance.
• Coach and develop a global team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
