About the role

Job summary

This role involves ensuring optimal supply chain operations by aligning supply with demand, maintaining appropriate stock levels, and enhancing supply chain performance metrics. The position is part of the Northern European Supply Chain team, focusing on continuous improvement and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Economics, or Engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Supply Chain planning, preferably in the FMCG sector.
  • Strong emphasis on efficiency and value chain optimization.
  • Customer-centric approach with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Proven ability to manage and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Familiarity with SAP ECC, SAP APO, and advanced Excel skills are advantageous.
  • Proactive and willing to take ownership of tasks.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in Dutch, French, or a Scandinavian language.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and address service issues and out-of-stock situations in collaboration with Global Supply teams and Procurement.
  • Ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders by coordinating with customer service and sales teams.
  • Analyze slow-moving, obsolete, and aging stock, proposing actionable improvements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance portfolio health.
  • Plan and optimize third-party supply of finished goods focusing on service, cost, and cash flow.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of supply chain processes and internal procedures.
