Advanced Climate Specialist (Sustainability, Remote)

Job summary

This role focuses on developing science-based climate strategies and supporting the organization in meeting evolving standards and commercial demands. The position is part of a collaborative team of sustainability professionals working on climate and ESG initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in corporate sustainability and science-based climate targets.
• Familiarity with ESG frameworks, climate risk disclosures, mass balance approaches, and product carbon footprints.
• Proven ability to lead projects and collaborate across functions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strategic roadmap for future climate targets aligned with SBTi standards.
• Provide guidance to Scope 3 project teams as part of the Carbon Emissions Centre of Excellence.
• Act as the climate subject matter expert, linking climate initiatives to commercial relevance.
• Prepare climate transition plans and coordinate climate risk assessments.
• Monitor and report on key standards such as the GHG Protocol and SBTi criteria.
• Support the development of product carbon footprint tools.
• Deliver internal training and resources on climate-related topics.

Education
