About the role

Job summary

This internship offers an opportunity to engage in sustainability and computational design within a multidisciplinary team focused on creating sustainable built environments. Interns will work on international projects, developing competencies in various fields related to sustainable design.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an architectural or engineering program.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and graphic skills.
  • Passion for sustainable design methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in microclimate design and simulations, including familiarity with CFD, daylight, and UTCI simulations.
  • Contribute to computational/generative design and data analysis, including scripting for building optimization and AI-assisted workflows.
  • Support biodiversity assessment methods and tools in the design process.
  • Engage in circular economy practices and decarbonization strategies, utilizing LCA tools.
  • Collaborate on BIM workflows using Revit and Dynamo for project automation and data manipulation.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Rhino and Grasshopper is essential.
  • Familiarity with Python, C#, and game engines is a plus.
  • Strong interest in sustainability and computational design areas.
  • Proficient in English.

Education

  • Must be a student during the internship period.

Tools

  • Experience with BIM tools, particularly Revit and Dynamo.
  • Familiarity with simulation and analysis tools related to microclimate and biodiversity.
