Job summary

The Customer Education Specialist is responsible for delivering structured onboarding and training experiences to customers in the maritime industry. This role focuses on executing predefined education programs to ensure customers receive high-quality training that supports their adoption of the platform.

Qualifications

• Background or education in maritime, shipping, logistics, or port operations, or a strong interest in the maritime sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in presenting to customers.
• Ability to follow structured processes and deliver against predefined agendas.
• Highly organized and reliable in managing scheduled commitments.
• Willingness to travel internationally for onsite training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver onsite and virtual training sessions using predefined curricula and materials.
• Facilitate onboarding sessions tailored to customer roles and workflows.
• Ensure consistent quality of training across different regions and formats.
• Observe and report gaps in understanding or operational readiness during training.
• Support customer launch activities through scheduled training sessions.
• Provide feedback on training materials and contribute to the improvement of education content.

Skills

• Strong organizational and accountability skills.
• Experience in customer-facing roles, such as onboarding or training, is preferred.
• Familiarity with SaaS products or operational software is a plus.
• Experience working across diverse cultures or regions is beneficial.

Education

• Relevant educational background in maritime or related fields.

Tools

• Familiarity with training management systems and feedback recording tools.
