Job summary

Positions are available for Assistant, Associate, and Full Professors focusing on telecommunications, signal processing, and antenna design. Candidates will contribute to academic programs and research in real-time communication technologies for smart devices, including IoT and edge computing.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree (PhD) in Telecommunications, Electronics, or a closely related field.
  • Proven teaching potential at undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Relevant research expertise in communications, signal processing, or antenna design.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in communications and antenna theory.
  • Provide academic advising and mentorship to students, particularly graduate researchers.
  • Develop and sustain a robust research agenda, secure external funding, and publish findings.
  • Collaborate with faculty across campuses and engage in service activities at various levels.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of electromagnetic fields, radio frequencies, and communication protocols.
  • Expertise in modern communication technologies such as 5G, 6G, LoRa, and software-defined radio.
  • Experience in research areas like autonomous robotics, object tracking, and low-power sensor networks.

Education

  • Required: PhD in a relevant field.

Tools

  • Familiarity with FPGA, neuromorphic computing, edge AI, and machine learning technologies.
