Digital Product Owner (Remote, Logistics)

Job summary

This role involves significant ownership in shaping the governance of critical data for a leading freight forwarder, focusing on location and party data as part of the enterprise data platform development. The position offers opportunities for professional growth and collaboration within a high-paced digital products department.

Qualifications

• Experience with master data management processes and a strong understanding of business operations.
• Familiarity with mapping, describing, and improving processes using various methodologies.
• Experience in logistics or IT is a bonus.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies, Six Sigma, or Lean; PSPO certification is a plus.
• Fluent in English; Danish is not required.

Responsibilities

• Define processes and business requirements for location and party components to support the enterprise data platform implementation.
• Create, implement, and maintain standards, processes, data dictionaries, and documentation related to location and party data.
• Manage data quality by defining and implementing qualitative and quantitative measures, identifying risks and root causes of quality issues.
• Lead the improvement pipeline, focusing on innovation, automation, and standardization based on lessons learned.
• Conduct regular training sessions with end-users to ensure governance and process implementation.

• Strong project management skills in a corporate environment.
• Ability to balance respect for others' perspectives with effective communication of your own ideas.

Education

• Relevant educational background in data management, business operations, or related fields is preferred.

Tools

• Familiarity with data management tools and agile project management software is advantageous.
