Director of Commercial Strategy & Planning (Remote, London)

Job summary

The Director of Commercial Strategy & Planning PMO is responsible for driving alignment and execution within the Commercial and Partnerships organization. This role involves overseeing the consolidated commercial plan, managing project intake, and ensuring effective delivery of cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a PMO, strategy, or project management role, preferably in commercial or revenue-focused environments.
• Demonstrated experience in portfolio planning, project intake, and governance frameworks.
• High proficiency with PMO and collaboration tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, Jira, or MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the consolidated Commercial & Partnerships plan in alignment with strategic objectives.
• Lead the evaluation and prioritization of commercial projects, ensuring transparent decision-making.
• Establish and enhance PMO governance standards and operating rhythms.
• Monitor progress of key initiatives, tracking milestones and risks across teams.
• Provide comprehensive status reporting with data-driven insights for leadership.
• Ensure alignment on project requirements and timelines across cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with Product and Technology teams for integrated planning.
• Identify risks and business impacts, facilitating early escalation and mitigation.
• Manage operational and strategic interdependencies to safeguard delivery.
• Support change management efforts for major initiatives.
