Head of Product (E-commerce, Remote)

Job summary

This role is for a strategic and hands-on product leader responsible for overseeing the entire product function within a growing direct-to-consumer e-commerce business. The position involves defining the product vision, expanding the product line, and establishing a repeatable product development process that integrates speed, experimentation, and customer insights.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Product, Category, or Brand Management in DTC e-commerce or related sectors.
• Proven experience in launching consumer products from concept to market and conducting lean product experiments.
• Strong skills in customer insights, including conducting interviews and synthesizing feedback.
• Analytical skills to interpret data and track KPIs for informed decision-making.
• Experience working with marketing teams to ensure product-market fit.
• High attention to detail and ability to make comprehensive product decisions.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating trade-offs and rationale.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage the multi-quarter product vision and roadmap.
• Conduct customer research and market validation to guide product decisions.
• Source and develop new products, managing the lifecycle from concept to launch.
• Analyze customer feedback to enhance existing products.
• Design and iterate experiments to validate product concepts and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and external partners for seamless execution.
• Build a structured yet flexible product development process and lead a small product team as the business grows.
