Job summary

Qualifications

• Legal education (e.g., Masters of Law, Juris Doctor, recognized legal certification)
• 2-6 years of experience in legal counsel or similar roles, with at least 2 years focused on contracts and data protection law
• Ability to simplify complex legal concepts for broader understanding
• Interest in AI technology

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with international laws relevant to AI and e-commerce platforms
• Prepare and maintain compliance documentation, including data protection and AI governance materials
• Conduct product and feature reviews for compliance with consumer rights and data protection
• Manage daily compliance tasks such as contract reviews and legal terms updates
• Research and analyze legal developments affecting the organization
