Qualifications

• Legal education (e.g., Masters of Law, Juris Doctor, recognized legal certification)
• 2-6 years of experience in legal counsel or similar roles, with at least 2 years in contracts and data protection law
• Ability to simplify complex legal concepts for broader understanding
• Interest in AI technology

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with international laws relevant to AI and e-commerce platforms
• Manage contracts and assessments under data protection laws, including GDPR
• Prepare and maintain compliance documentation related to AI governance and consumer rights
• Conduct product and feature reviews for legal compliance
• Handle daily compliance tasks, including contract reviews and legal terms updates
• Monitor and analyze legal developments affecting the organization
