Job summary

The role involves serving as the global legal lead for product development, providing regulatory guidance throughout the product lifecycle, from ideation to ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor or equivalent qualification to practice law in a major jurisdiction with extensive international regulatory experience.
• Over 10 years of experience in regulatory legal roles, ideally within technology, financial services, or cryptocurrency sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of global financial product regulations, including spot and derivatives trading, payment systems, and digital assets.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal and regulatory advice to product teams on new features and market expansions.
• Assess and mitigate regulatory risks across a diverse product suite.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and compliance teams to integrate legal considerations into product development.
• Develop and maintain compliance frameworks that support growth in various regulatory environments.
• Engage with regulators and external counsel on product-related issues.
• Conduct workshops to enhance regulatory awareness within the organization.
