About the role

Job summary

This role involves overseeing the digital landscape for Procurement, focusing on delivering measurable business outcomes through effective product management within procurement platforms. The Product Owner will work closely with both business and digital teams to ensure alignment with procurement strategy and sustainability goals.

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate a clear product vision aligned with procurement strategy and compliance goals.
  • Manage product ownership and lead the product team in collaboration with the Lead Architect.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and maintain the product roadmap in partnership with the Business Area Lead.
  • Engage with colleagues to identify business capability gaps and translate them into actionable digital solutions.
  • Create and maintain metrics to ensure product value recognition and adoption.
  • Act as a liaison between Procurement and Digital teams, translating complex processes into digital requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, business, or a related field.
  • Experience in owning digital products within Procurement, Supply Chain, or Enterprise SaaS environments.
  • Background in Procurement or related functions with a solid understanding of sourcing and contract management.
  • Certified Product Owner or equivalent training with knowledge of agile principles.
  • Familiarity with sourcing and contracting platforms and ERP system integrations.
  • Extensive experience in agile product teams, facilitating planning and alignment among stakeholders.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Capacity for full product ownership and value-driven prioritization.
  • Ability to assess processes for opportunities in automation and data-driven decision-making.
  • Agile delivery and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Change management capabilities with a focus on user adoption.

Education

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Tools

  • Experience with procurement platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa) and understanding of ERP integrations.
