Project Manager (Aviation, Nordics, Hybrid)

Job summary

The primary objective of this role is to oversee and deliver engineering and maintenance projects in Northern Europe, ensuring adherence to established processes and local regulations. The position requires effective collaboration with various teams and contractors to address challenges systematically.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant technical field, with postgraduate experience or equivalent training in project management preferred.
• Proven experience in managing construction projects and building relationships with external authorities and contractors.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Nordic languages is a plus.
• Proficient in project management tools and IT skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on meeting tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects by applying Management of Change and Capital Value Process.
• Serve as the main liaison for projects, ensuring compliance with CAPEX and REVEX plans.
• Prepare budget estimates, monitor costs, and oversee project capitalization.
• Facilitate lessons learned from previous projects for continuous improvement.
• Manage resources effectively to ensure timely project completion.
• Participate in engineering processes, including design reviews and risk assessments.
• Support construction activities and ensure compliance with HSSE policies.
• Assist in contractor selection and manage project variations.

• Flexibility to travel up to 50% as required for project delivery.

Education

• Relevant technical degree with project management training or experience.
