Senior IT Project Manager (Remote, Global)

Job summary

An experienced Senior IT Project Manager is needed to lead a global ERP implementation and drive strategic transformation initiatives. This role emphasizes strong stakeholder management, cross-functional alignment, and delivery excellence in a diverse environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, IT, or a related field
• Over 7 years of experience in project management, specifically in large-scale IT or ERP programs
• Proven success in delivering ERP implementations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)
• Strong background in stakeholder management within global, matrixed organizations
• Experience collaborating with system integrators, vendors, and cross-functional teams
• Solid understanding of project methodologies and change management frameworks
• Ability to effectively manage teams across multiple time zones
• Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Danish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete delivery of large-scale IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives through effective scope, budget, risk, and stakeholder management.
• Manage stakeholder relationships at all levels, from executive leadership to operational teams, ensuring engagement and adoption.
• Promote project and portfolio management best practices (PMI, PRINCE2, Agile) to enhance consistency and agility across project teams.
• Collaborate with IT and business leadership to define and execute the ERP strategy, roadmap, and deployment plans.
• Lead change management and business transformation efforts to facilitate ERP adoption and process standardization.
• Drive initiatives that enhance transparency, efficiency, and collaboration within the organization, fostering a culture of agility and continuous improvement.
