Job summary

The Senior Manager, Portfolio Strategy & Analytics will be responsible for translating global portfolio strategies into actionable frameworks and roadmaps, providing data-driven insights to guide cross-functional teams. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure alignment with consumer trends and business performance.

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of experience in portfolio strategy, category strategy, merchandising, consulting, or commercial strategy within a global consumer brand.
  • Relevant background in Business Strategy, Marketing, Merchandising, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to translate data and insights into strategic frameworks and decision-making tools.
  • Strong experience in cross-functional collaboration within a global matrix organization.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of influencing senior leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Translate portfolio strategy into operational frameworks and decision-support tools.
  • Develop 1-year and 3-year portfolio strategies using insights from analytics and consumer data.
  • Identify portfolio opportunities, risks, and growth gaps across various categories.
  • Lead the development and evolution of the global portfolio roadmap in collaboration with platform teams.
  • Evaluate platform proposals against portfolio strategy to identify overlaps and opportunities.
  • Support the development of portfolio architecture frameworks and ensure global assortment aligns with strategy.
  • Monitor lifecycle adherence and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Lead portfolio analytics frameworks and performance tracking, generating insights for optimization.
  • Partner with platform teams to translate strategy into collection roadmaps and drive alignment across stakeholders.

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Tools

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and portfolio management software.
