Job summary

This role involves leading a team of Client Service Specialists focused on delivering exceptional service to corporate clients. The Team Leader will translate strategic objectives into operational practices, ensuring high-quality client interactions and continuous improvement in service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in the insurance or risk management sector, ideally in operations.
  • Proven success in client-focused or operations roles emphasizing quality and delivery.
  • Strong grasp of insurance processes and client service workflows, including renewals and claims support.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with digital tools and systems, including CRM and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Client Service Specialist team to ensure high client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define and execute strategic goals for the Corporate segment.
  • Establish clear performance targets for team members, providing regular feedback and conducting performance reviews.
  • Enhance daily workflows and processes through continuous improvement initiatives and technology integration.
  • Foster a positive team culture focused on professionalism, teamwork, and growth.
  • Manage a personal portfolio of corporate clients, overseeing meetings, documentation, and follow-ups.

Skills

  • Leadership experience is beneficial but not mandatory; informal leadership experience is also valued.
  • Strong focus on people development and coaching.
  • Commercial awareness regarding the impact of client service on business performance.
  • Experience with change management and process optimization.

Education

  • Relevant qualifications in insurance, risk management, or a related field are preferred.

Tools

  • Familiarity with CRM systems, Excel, and other core business applications.
