Job summary

The Associate Director of Public Affairs & Communications is responsible for leading public affairs initiatives in Denmark and enhancing internal communications at the Copenhagen headquarters. This role involves developing strategies to elevate the company's profile and engaging with key stakeholders, while also contributing to global content creation within the Communications & Corporate Affairs team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a Public Affairs strategy to enhance the company's visibility in Denmark.
  • Lead internal communications efforts to foster employee engagement and support organizational initiatives.
  • Organize and manage large employee meetings, ensuring alignment with corporate messaging and leadership visibility.
  • Advise the Site Leadership Team on communications strategies, including reputation management and public affairs.
  • Collaborate with HR to support change management and localize global communications campaigns.
  • Mentor and guide student workers in the Communications & Corporate Affairs department.
  • Create business communications for senior leaders, including presentations and key messaging documents.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Over 8 years of experience in communications, ideally within the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors.
  • Proven expertise in executive communications, media relations, and public affairs.
  • Experience working in global teams and mentoring junior staff.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint and digital communication tools.

Education
