Job summary

The Associate Director of Public Affairs & Communications is responsible for leading public affairs initiatives in Denmark and managing internal communications for the company's headquarters in Copenhagen. This role involves developing strategies to enhance the company's profile as a biotech leader and engaging with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred.
  • Over 8 years of experience in communications, ideally in pharma/biotech or regulated sectors.
  • Proven track record in executive communications, media relations, and public affairs.
  • Experience in global teams and mentoring.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint and digital communication tools.

Responsibilities

  • Create dynamic communications and experiences that convey the company narrative.
  • Lead public affairs efforts, ensuring alignment with global communications.
  • Organize and manage large employee meetings to foster trust and engagement.
  • Advise site leadership on communications strategies and public affairs.
  • Collaborate with HR on change management and local communications campaigns.
  • Mentor student workers in the Communications & Corporate Affairs team.
  • Draft business communications for senior leaders, including key messages and presentations.

Education
