Job summary

This role involves leading the Product Management team within the Clinical Diagnostics Division, overseeing a portfolio strategy and managing a team of directors and product managers. The position requires a strong focus on customer needs and competitive solutions in the pathology and NGS markets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Science, or Engineering with a solid understanding of the diagnostic industry.
  • Extensive experience in product management with a proven track record.
  • Preferred background in sales or business development.
  • Familiarity with P&L responsibilities and financial decision-making.
  • Experience in leading teams and cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent business analysis and planning skills.
  • Typically requires 10+ years of managerial experience.
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for the product portfolio from inception to end-of-life.
  • Translate market strategies into actionable plans for the Product Management team.
  • Identify growth opportunities and execute long-term cost/profit control plans.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to prioritize go-to-market strategies.
  • Manage direct reports, set performance objectives, and conduct appraisals.
  • Identify and develop talent within the team.
  • Allocate resources effectively to projects and marketing initiatives.
  • Foster cross-functional partnerships to align on product priorities.
  • Ensure compliance with quality systems and company policies.

Education
