About the role

Job summary

This role involves serving as a technical resource for the field sales team, focusing on the Nordics region. The Channel Sales Engineer will manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, acting as a key technical advisor and product advocate. Building relationships and effectively communicating technology solutions to both business and technical users is essential for ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.

Responsibilities

  • Validate technical aspects of solutions for potential clients
  • Develop and deliver product demonstrations
  • Present products to customers and at industry events such as conferences and seminars
  • Address functional and technical components of RFIs/RFPs
  • Communicate customer requirements to Product Management teams
  • Travel within the sales territory as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years in Pre-Sales or Consulting roles related to network or cloud security products in customer-facing positions
  • Demonstrated success in software sales
  • In-depth knowledge of networking technologies, including LAN/WAN, switching, routing, and security technologies (firewalls, filtering)
  • Strong presentation and written communication skills for emails, RFPs, and reports
  • Organized, analytical, creative, and adaptable in problem-solving
