Job summary

This role involves supporting the growth of corporate customers by promoting an API-first development culture and nurturing customer relationships. The Corporate Solutions Engineer will collaborate with the sales team to guide users in effectively leveraging the platform for their API needs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years in corporate sales or solutions engineering.
  • At least 3 years of software development experience.
  • Familiarity with APIs and data platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales by nurturing prospects and supporting corporate customers.
  • Conduct discovery sessions, technical demos, and workshops for prospective clients.
  • Address technical questions and provide solutions to customer needs.
  • Create reusable materials to help customers adopt API-first practices.
  • Understand customer workflows and advocate for their needs.
  • Stay informed on competitive landscape and trends in the API market.
  • Develop proof of concept integrations and maintain customer sandbox environments.
  • Act as a liaison between sales and technical teams to meet customer requirements.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of APIs and experience in producing and consuming them.
  • Knowledge of modern development methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with SaaS sales processes and security concerns.
  • Experience with sales strategies such as MEDDIC and Challenger Sale.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or relevant work experience.

Tools

  • Proficient with developer tools such as IDEs, Git, CI/CD, monitoring services, and cloud computing services.
