Job summary

The Global Key Account Manager is responsible for leading and nurturing strategic relationships with the company's largest customers, ensuring they receive optimal support and value. This role focuses on understanding customer needs, driving collaborative initiatives, and coordinating efforts across various functions to secure long-term growth and loyalty.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans for key global customers.
  • Manage contract renewals, expansions, and overall account development.
  • Identify risks and opportunities throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Drive revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Negotiate global commercial agreements in partnership with regional teams and legal departments.
  • Oversee pricing, profitability, and financial forecasting for key accounts.
  • Monitor account performance and ensure alignment with objectives.
  • Translate customer insights into internal improvements and strategic actions.
  • Ensure compliance with governance frameworks and contractual obligations.
  • Lead joint business planning and strategic collaboration with key customers.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver customer initiatives and projects.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing major B2B accounts with a track record of driving growth.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to handle complex contracts and negotiations.
  • Experience working collaboratively with various internal teams, including Sales, Operations, and Finance.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define KPIs and develop insights for account performance.

Skills

  • Proficient in CRM and commercial systems for accurate forecasting.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
  • Comfortable representing the company in high-stakes discussions with customers.

Education

  • Relevant industry experience is advantageous, though not specified.
