Global Strategic Pursuits Manager (Transport, Remote)

Job summary

This role focuses on leading pursuit strategies for significant opportunities in the transport sector across Europe, working closely with commercial teams to enhance business development efforts.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in managing complex bids, preferably in the transport industry.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop persuasive value propositions.
• Proficient communication skills to influence senior stakeholders across various functions and regions.
• Fluent in English and a Scandinavian language (Swedish, Danish, or Norwegian).

Responsibilities

• Advocate for best practices in sales and tender processes for strategic opportunities; provide guidance to tender teams.
• Develop and manage Capture Plans; collaborate with Opportunity Owners and Business Area Leaders from the outset.
• Offer independent assessments during governance reviews to ensure realistic win probabilities.
• Facilitate strategy meetings to articulate the value proposition and ensure compliance with client needs.
• Promote continuous improvement in bidding processes by documenting lessons learned and sharing best practices.
• Support GBA strategy, lead generation, market intelligence, and relationship building as a secondary focus.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field preferred.
