Qualifications

• Proven experience in leading R&D or engineering teams in SaaS or product-led environments.
• Several years of experience in managing and developing engineering professionals.
• Strong track record of improving delivery in complex team settings.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with stakeholders in Product, Operations, and executive levels.
• Ability to create clarity in ambiguous situations.
• Familiarity with platform-oriented development, APIs, or cloud architectures.
• Fluency in English; Danish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the engineering team, focusing on coaching and development.
• Own hiring, team design, and performance management.
• Ensure predictable engineering execution and roadmap delivery.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management to translate strategy into actionable plans.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Success to align R&D with customer needs.
• Represent R&D at the leadership level and communicate effectively with teams.

Skills

• Experience in scaling, modernization, or organizational change.
• Solid understanding of modern engineering practices and operational excellence.
• Experience with AI in R&D workflows is advantageous.

Education
