IT Assistant (Student Worker, Remote/Hybrid, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves supporting IT infrastructure and ensuring reliable operations within a maritime software company. The position is suitable for students looking to gain hands-on experience while studying.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Administration, Systems Administration, or a related field.
• Basic IT troubleshooting skills across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms.
• Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users.
• Systematic approach to tracking assets and documenting procedures.
• Proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
• Comfortable using Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or similar SaaS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage company devices, including enrollment, security updates, and lifecycle management.
• Maintain office IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation of networks and meeting room equipment.
• Oversee SaaS licenses, including access management and cost tracking.
• Provide first-line IT support to employees, troubleshooting access issues and minimizing interruptions.
• Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring secure and complete transitions.
• Manage mobile devices, including setup and support for common issues.
• Maintain accurate IT documentation for assets, licenses, and procedures.

Skills

• Service-minded and systematic, with a calm demeanor under pressure.
• Eager to learn about device management and MDM/MAM platforms.
• Previous IT support or helpdesk experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts and IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft, Apple) is advantageous but not required.

Education

• Enrollment in a relevant IT education program.

Tools

• Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and other SaaS platforms is beneficial.
