Job summary

This role focuses on connecting manufacturing operations with enterprise technology to leverage industrial data for business impact. The position is fully remote and involves collaboration within an agile team to drive digital transformation and data-powered solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field
  • Several years of experience in manufacturing, industrial data, automation, or engineering environments
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, data architectures, and IT/OT integration concepts

Responsibilities

  • Design, maintain, and enhance IT/OT data pipelines linking manufacturing systems with enterprise platforms
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to manufacturing data, automation, and system integration
  • Develop and modify automated workflows, scripts, and data transformations to support manufacturing operations
  • Integrate data from process historians, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and PLC/OT data sources
  • Collaborate with Operations, Process Control, Quality, and Digital teams to promote data-driven plant performance
  • Support global and site-level digital initiatives, including prioritization and execution
  • Advocate for best practices in data modeling, automation, and scalable solution design
  • Provide technical guidance to stakeholders to support various operational goals
  • Contribute to data governance and continuous improvement across manufacturing sites
