Laboratory Technician (Temporary, Remote)

Job summary

This position involves working as a Laboratory Technician focused on advanced technology development in diagnostic solutions. The role includes performing immunohistochemical (IHC) staining and in situ hybridization (ISH) techniques, testing on automated platforms, and evaluating results through tissue slide analysis.

Qualifications

• Education as a Laboratory Technician or Bioanalyst
• Proficient in English communication, both written and spoken
• Experience with IHC and ISH techniques is advantageous, but training will be provided
• Familiarity with automated IHC and ISH is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
• Detail-oriented and organized, committed to high-quality standards
• Broad laboratory skills with a strong willingness to learn
• Adaptable to evolving protocols and methods
• Motivated by new challenges and a collaborative work environment

Responsibilities

Work Setup

• Conduct IHC and ISH on automated platforms
• Evaluate stained slides using microscopy or digital image analysis
• Perform bacterial and mammalian cell work
• Prepare GLP documentation and develop experimental protocols
• Document experiments and results systematically
• Share knowledge and communicate effectively within the team
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align results and identify improvement opportunities
• Contribute to the optimization and continuous improvement of methods and workflows
• Full-time position with a day shift schedule
• No travel required
• Temporary position with the possibility of extension
