Network Operations Engineer (IT Infrastructure, Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role involves managing and modernizing a global network infrastructure, focusing on Cisco systems, firewalls, and various network technologies. The position requires participation in IT infrastructure projects and daily operations, ensuring reliable and secure network services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar IT Infrastructure role
• Deep knowledge of the Cisco network ecosystem (Meraki experience is a plus)
• Hands-on experience with firewall technologies (Checkpoint experience is a plus)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaaC)
• IT-related education (IT Technician/Engineer) or a Bachelor's degree
• Knowledge of ITIL framework, preferably certified in ITIL V4 Foundation
• Experience with ITSM systems
• Fluent in English, both written and verbally
• Strong written communication skills with attention to detail
• Valid references to support skills and personality

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the global network, including incident and service request handling
• Create and maintain network documentation
• Collaborate with network support vendors for troubleshooting and support
• Participate in ongoing projects such as Cisco cloud management transition and network integration
