About the role

Job summary

This role involves leading the strategic direction and sales efforts for the Structural Heart business in the Nordic region, focusing on maximizing profitable sales and market share. The position requires significant travel within the region, up to 50%.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement revenue and expense strategies, including pricing schemes, aligned with regional Profit and Loss objectives.
  • Develop an annual business plan with challenging targets while maintaining close engagement with the sales team and customers.
  • Analyze market size and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
  • Drive sales growth and develop strategies to enhance market share across all product lines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the purchasing process.
  • Identify and nurture talent to create a high-performing team.
  • Participate in national and regional meetings as required.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Marketing, Business Management, Biology, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in sales with a strategic and data-driven approach.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in coaching teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry, particularly in medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
  • Familiarity with the decision-making processes of customers in the Nordic region.
  • Fluency in a Scandinavian language and English is required.
