About the role

Job summary

This position involves a three-year postdoctoral role focused on understanding the persistence of creativity in later life, utilizing large-scale longitudinal data and applied econometric methods. The researcher will contribute to a project examining the evolution of creativity across the life course, particularly in older age, and will engage in a collaborative research environment.

Qualifications

  • PhD in economics or a related field.
  • Proven research experience in applied econometrics.
  • Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience in national or European research projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent research aligned with the project's goals.
  • Participate actively in the research project led by the principal investigator.
  • Collaborate across disciplines within the department and with external partners.

Skills

  • Interest in economic history and/or cultural economics is preferred.
  • Familiarity with demographic methods, longitudinal data analysis, or life-course analysis is a plus.

Education

  • A PhD or equivalent qualifications is required.

Tools

  • Experience with econometric software and data analysis tools relevant to economic research.
