Qualifications

  • PhD degree (or nearing completion) in environmental engineering, agricultural science, or related fields.
  • Research experience in laboratory or field studies.
  • Strong interest in hands-on research involving field measurements.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating with team members and supervisors.
  • Proficient communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Collaborative mindset, particularly in working with PhD students.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct field measurements using advanced analytical techniques and instrumentation across multiple farms in Denmark.
  • Collaborate with external partners to ensure representative site monitoring.
  • Contribute to projects focused on documenting GHG reduction efficiencies of technologies aimed at reducing methane emissions from manure storage.
  • Engage in numerical modeling of biological methane oxidation as needed.

Skills

  • Proficiency in environmental engineering and agricultural science methodologies.
  • Experience with mobile analytical platforms and field data collection.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education

  • A PhD degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field is required.

Tools

  • Familiarity with gas analyzers and other analytical instrumentation for environmental research.
