Seeking two postdoctoral researchers to explore novel protocols and security proofs in quantum cryptography, focusing on semi-device-independent methods and leveraging symmetries in large systems.

Qualifications

  • PhD in physics, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong theoretical skills relevant to quantum cryptography.
  • Experience in quantum cryptography, representation theory, Bell nonlocality, randomness extraction, or optimization methods is advantageous.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-standard research and develop new ideas.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to project direction.
  • Supervise bachelor’s and master’s students, and potentially PhD students.
  • Disseminate research findings through publications and presentations at conferences.

Education

  • A PhD in a relevant field is required.
