Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Physical Sciences, or a related field, or a Bachelor's Degree with equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the software industry, including developing commercial software, compilers, or scientific computing applications.
  • Programming experience in relevant languages and familiarity with collaborative environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design algorithms and applications for fault-tolerant quantum computers.
  • Develop advanced toolsets for modeling quantum algorithms across various hardware architectures.
  • Create new techniques for application- and architecture-aware quantum circuit compilation and optimization.
  • Collaborate with engineers, researchers, and leaders to foster career growth and innovation.
  • Facilitate cross-group collaboration within quantum modeling, error correction, and applications teams.

Skills

  • Experience in developing and implementing quantum algorithms, particularly for fault-tolerant systems.
  • Knowledge of high-performance classical computing methods.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team.

Education

  • Relevant degrees in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields.

Tools

  • Familiarity with AI tools for innovation and efficiency, including performance modeling and task automation.
