Job summary

This role focuses on driving business growth in the Life Sciences sector, particularly in Fill & Finish and Single-Use solutions. The Sales Engineer will establish customer relationships, provide technical expertise, and generate new business opportunities while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a relevant field or equivalent technical experience.
  • Technical sales experience in process capital equipment or related services/products for life sciences customers is essential; experience in Fill Finish is advantageous.
  • Strong commercial acumen with proven success in key account management and business development in a technical B2B context.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize a consultative selling approach to understand customer needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Define and validate Customer Value Propositions (CVPs) to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
  • Conduct white-space analysis to identify revenue gaps and develop strategies to address them.
  • Manage and grow a robust opportunity pipeline by collaborating with regional sales teams.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research and networking.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing technical support and recommendations.
  • Manage sales leads and inquiries with timely follow-ups and tailored solutions.
  • Allocate workload strategically to focus on high-impact initiatives.
  • Demonstrate products through on-site and virtual presentations to showcase their benefits.
  • Research industry trends and share insights with colleagues to enhance performance.
  • Utilize CRM tools for lead management and sales forecasting.
  • Promote cross-portfolio solutions to deliver integrated outcomes for customers.
  • Champion core values of safety, collaboration, and customer focus within the team.

Skills

  • Strong technical knowledge in life sciences and related sales experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer engagement.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage complex projects.

Education

  • BSc or Diploma in a relevant field or equivalent technical experience.

Tools

  • CRM tools for lead tracking and sales management.
