Job summary

A Sales Manager is sought to lead and expand the Imaging & Instruments business across Northern Europe, focusing on building relationships and driving sales in a technical environment. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance market presence and support business growth in the defence sector.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Proven experience in technical sales and business development.
  • Background in the maritime industry is advantageous but not required.
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with both technical and executive audiences.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional Northern European languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and surpass quarterly and annual sales targets, maintaining an organized pipeline in Salesforce.
  • Manage relationships with distributors and channel partners to ensure alignment and performance.
  • Develop and implement a regional sales strategy to enhance market penetration.
  • Conduct technical seminars, product presentations, and demonstrations.
  • Identify and pursue non-standard sales opportunities, collaborating with product management for tailored solutions.
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide insights on market trends and opportunities.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of technical and maritime concepts.
  • Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and credibly.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.

Tools

  • Salesforce for pipeline management and forecasting.
